NFL Power Rankings Week 10

NFL Power Rankings Week 10

Gonna keep it brief.  Kevin Malone style.

  1. Eagles (8-1) — | Previous Rank: 1
Saw Falcons do big vs Dallas. Eagles gonna do bigger (probably).  Next: @Dallas.
  2. Rams (7-2) +1 | Previous Rank: 3
“Rams are the real deal” is the 3rd sentence I least imagined writing this season.  Next: @Minnesota
  3. Vikings (7-2) +1 | Previous Rank: 4
Jeff Fisher is gonna be trending on Sunday.  Next: LARams
  4. Patriots (7-2) | Previous Rank: 4
The last time the Patriots defense was this bad they lost in the Super Bowl.  Wait what.  Next: @Washington
  5. Steelers (7-2) -5 | Previous Rank: 2
Not an indictment on them, 3 other teams just had better days than them. Next: Tennessee
  6. Saints (7-2) +1 | Previous Rank: 7
Seven straight wins and Johnathan Vilma is making radio rounds. Good time to be a Saint.  Next: Washington
  7. Panthers (7-3) +1 | Previous Rank: 8
CMC is quietly putting together a fabulous season.  837 all purpose yards on 149 touches with 6 games remaining. Usage early in the season was a factor, but with Benjamin gone, a realistic shot at the playoffs, Cam is going to need a lot more support from his rookie. Next:  Bye.
  8. Chiefs (6-3) -2 | Previous Rank: 6
Sorta relevant, hung out with Christian Okoye over the weekend.  Very pleasant to be around.  Also likes the Chiefs, who’da thunk?  Next: @NYGiants
  9. Jaguars (6-3) +1 | Previous Rank: 10
Blake Bortles ‘is going to bumble and stumble and 4 interception his way to a Super Bowl’ might have been the best line I heard all this week.  Next: @Cleveland
  10. Titans (6-3) +1 | Previous Rank: 11
Still can’t believe that Ducks team lost the natty.  Next: @Pittsburgh
  11. Seahawks (6-3) +4 | Previous Rank: 15
How sad were you when you realized there was only one member of the LOB on the field?  Next: @Houston
  12. Lions (5-4) +1 | Previous Rank: 13
Remember when Matt Millen was running that team?  Next: @Chicago
  13. Falcons (5-4) +4 | Previous Rank: 17
Clairborne got 6 sacks and gave Atlanta a huge lift heading into Seattle.  Next: @Seattle
  14. Cowboys (5-4) -5 | Previous Rank: 9
Star running back: out.  Franchise LT: out.  Owner: Pulling an Al Davis and not really caring about any of the other owners.  Next: Philadelphia
  15. Bills (5-4) -4 | Previous Rank: 11
Tyrod out and now I’m even more upset that the Raiders lost to them.  Next: @LAChargers
  16. Redskins (4-5) -2 | Previous Rank: 14
Apparently RGIII thought he was Aaron Rodgers.  Next: @New Orleans
  17. Raiders (4-5) +1 | Previous Rank: 18
Going back to Mexico in what could be a home game against Brady and the bunch.  Next: New England
  18. Ravens (4-5) +1 | Previous Rank: 19
I realized I missed out on a sweet Edgar Allen Poe reference during the Halloween batch. Next: @GreenBay
  19. Jets (4-6) -3| Previous Rank: 16
Only last place division team with 4 wins. Next: Bye
  20. Packers (5-4) +9| Previous Rank: 20
Hundley + Adams = The Future.  Next: Baltimore

#21-30 *POSSIBLE OFF THE RAILS ALERT*

  21. 49ers (1-9) +9 | Previous Rank: 30
Yes.  The 1-9 49ers are #21.  1 of two teams that did in the bottom 12 and lets be real, Beathard is an easier sell than being impressed with anything Ryan Fitzpatrick does.  Finally got their revenge against the G-Men with Kyle Williams being flown out and told the game was in New York.  Next: Bye
  22. Colts (3-7) +5 | Previous Rank: 27
Most annoying thing in sports is the idea of a ‘good loss.’  But anyways yeah they had a good loss.  Next: Bye
  23. Bengals (3-6) +1 | Previous Rank: 24
Some Bronco fan at brunch this past sunday told me AJ McCarron is a Bronco and to ‘book it’ followed by a generous helping of chicken enchiladas that weren’t bad considering it was Marie Callanders.  Next: @Denver
  24. Tampa Bay (3-6) +5 | Previous Rank: 29
Fitzpatrick suck on his beard during pregame?  Next: @Miami
  25. Cardinals (4-5) -3 | Previous Rank: 22
2 words; Matt. Barkley.  Next: @Houston
  26. Chargers (3-6) -7 | Previous Rank: 19
The Phillip Rivers 30 for 30 thats gonna come out in a few years just keeps getting better and better with every final drive of the game to win it that he can’t punch in.  Next: Buffalo
  27. Dolphins (4-5) -2 | Previous Rank: 25
Lawrence Timmons and Rey Maualuga are Dolphins??? Next: Tampa Bay
  28. Bears (3-6) -8 | Previous Rank: 20
John Fox challenged himself and won (lost).  Next: Detroit
  29. Texans (3-5) -4 | Previous Rank: 25
Crazy to think that Houston fans wish they were producing the exact same numbers the Astros were in the WS.  Next:  Arizona
  30. Broncos (3-6) -3 | Previous Rank: 27
Brock killed a guy.  Next: Cincinnati
  31. Giants (1-8) -1 | Previous Rank: 31
    Um. Next: NYGiants
  32. Browns (0-9) | Previous Rank: 32
Remember when their logo change a couple years ago was simply just brightening up the orange?  Next: @Detroit
